Sun Fuji is an apple created by crossing Kunimitsu
(Kokko) and Delicious, and was registered as a variety in
1962. The name comes from SUN + Fuji.ln other words,
Fuji was grown without bags. The full exposure to sunlight
makes the taste even richer
What makes this variety so popular is that it is full of
juice, has a good balance of sweetness and acidity, and
can easily be filled with honey. It also has a pleasant
crunchy texture and a rich flavor.
The size of the fruit is about 300 to 400 grams, and it is
the most widely grown variety in Japan, making it the・king
of apples.
