Shinano Dolce is an apple born in Nagano Prefecture,
Japan.lt is the result of crossing Golden Delicious and
Chiaki.lt is characterized by its crunchy pulp and moderate
acidity, and although it does not contain honey, its average
sugar content is about 15 degrees.lt has a perfect
balance of sweetness, acidity, aroma, and texture, and is
full of juice.
The Sinano Dolce is around 300 grams in size, and its
slightly long and narrow shape makes it heavier than it
appears. The traditional way to eat it is to peel it and cut it
into wedges, but be aware that the skin contains
polyphenols, etc. , so be sure to eat it with the skin as well.
